David acquired his first boxer at the end of 1969 and at his first show won a blue ribbon.   He was hooked, and thus began a journey which has so far spanned over 3 decades.

In 1978 we imported our first boxer from England,Ch.That's Right of Panfield (imp UK)(SOM) "Moses", a red and white son of Eng Ch Steynmere Summer Gold and Eng Ch Gold Bangle of Panfield.   Moses went on to sire 20 Champions including the influential sire, Eng Ch Steynmere Night Rider.

Soon after we imported an English bitch, Ch.Seefeld Sheer Delight and when mated to Moses she produced a number of champions.

Later we imported the Night Rider son, Ch.Steynmere Star Turn, from Dr Bruce Cattanach. "Max" also was the sire of champions.

Towards the end of the 80's we aquired a gangly young junior bred by the Faerdorn Kennels in England from mainly American lines, called Ch.Faerdorn Raise a Riot (SOM).    "Jamie" matured into a beautiful "swan" and won many top awards including Best in Show at the 2nd Boxer National, under top specialist judge, Mrs Pat Heath.

"Jamie" sired 20 champions including Grand Champions and multi Best in show winners. His most famous son would be Aust Gr Ch Thasrite Prince Charming (SOM).

In the early 90's our interest in North American Boxers was roused. After a visit to the 1993 ABC, David was so impressed with the great Am Ch Kiebla's Tradition of TuRo DOM, that he decided American Boxer bloodlines were the way to go. Imagine how delighted he was to discover a half brother to Tiggin was available. So, in partnership with Gene Frederick, TuRo's Cross Time (imp USA)(SOM) was imported. To date this dog has sired 24 champions with more on the way.

Further access to US lines were introduced by importing frozen semen from influential stud dogs, including Am Ch Kreyon's Easy Money SOM and Am Ch Seaside's EWO Surfbreaker SOM. Frozen semen from both these dogs has produced champion get, including the prolific winner, Aust Gr Ch Thasrite Topless Bikini (AI)(DOM) who was BIS all breeds on 26 occasions.

Later to continue to improve our breeding program a superbly bred English import was introduced into the kennels. The dog, Ch Winuwuk Plane Sailing (imp UK)(SOM), son of Eng Ch Ashgate Able Seaman of Seefeld and Eng Ch Roamaro Scotch Mist of Winuwuk has added another dimension to the Thasrite breeding program. "Digby" went on to produce around 20 champions.
